Buildings Defaults

The Defaults Manager: Buildings panel contains controls used to set the default building type for projects that use the ASHRAE and CIBSE calculation standards.

Setting	Description
ASHRAE – Buildings	This Buildings panel sub-panel contains controls for setting the default building type for projects which use the ASHRAE calculation standard. If the ASHRAE calculation standard is the active standard, the ASHRAE – Buildings sub-panel is highlighted and expanded while the CIBSE - Buildings sub–panel is not highlighted and collapsed. Catalogue — Used to select the AHRAE buildings catalog from which to select the default building type. The available catalogs are: 2004 2007 2010 Type — Used to select the default building type from the selected ASHRAE buildings catalog. The available building types include: Tip: The active project building type can be changed at any time by changing the Building Type property in Building Properties.
CIBSE – Buildings	This Buildings panel sub-panel contains controls for setting the default building type for projects which use the CIBSE calculation standard. If the CIBSE calculation standard is the active standard, the CIBSE – Buildings sub-panel is highlighted and expanded while the ASHRAE - Buildings sub–panel is not highlighted and collapsed. Catalog — Used to select the CIBSE buildings catalog from which to select the default building type. The available catalogs are: CIBSE Type — Used to select the default building type from the selected CIBSE buildings catalog.
